It is situated at the foot of Mt. mushidage, the father of iceberg. "Kalakuli" means "black sea" in the local language. Its altitude is about 3,600 m, which covers an area of 10 km2 with a depth of 30 meters. Towering and mysterious Mt. mushidage is clearly reflected in the lake. what a beautiful scene with water and mountains! It is the Shubashi Plain that is on the bank of the lake. Tajik people live on the plain, raising cows and sheep.
