During the first two days of the May Day holiday, Red Tourism has been highlighted throughout the country.

The Launching ceremony of the Red Tour in Jilin Province was held on May 1st, with more than 1000 people participating.

Several exhibitions on the revolutionary history have been opened in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, attracting many tourists as well as citizens.

Some travel agencies in Shanghai have arranged special Red Tours around the city for college students.

It is estimated that on May 2nd, 11, 000 people visited the site of the First National Congress of the CPC. The number of visitors is 20 times of the average at this time of the year.
