Travel Tips

Penglai is to the northwest of the Yantai city, a major sea port of eastern China's Shandong Province.	A trip to Penglai can be concluded in one day, but tourists can still find a nice place to stay overnight.	Tourists usually go to Penglai by way of Yantai, where the transportation is very convenient.
The climate in this area is friendly with moderate summers, mild winters and plenty of sunshine.	Yantai cuisine is most famous for its abundance of sea food, and characterized by frying and braising.	Short in distance and rich in tourist spots, the Jiaodong peninsula is ideal for compact tours of cities.
