Due to the climate in the mountain area, the peaks of Huashan Mountain are frequently surrounded by thick fog and cloud.
This Sea of Clouds is actually one of Huashan Mountain's most famous attractions.
When the wind blows, the clouds float about, like waves surging in the sea, making the summits of the peaks look like tiny islands lost in an ocean landscape.
The clouds grow thicker at night, when the sun rises over Huashan Mountain, its seems like its rising from under the sea.
Sunrise provides breathtaking views for visitors who hope to see a colorful rainbow inthe rising sun, which is a sign of luck in China.
The East Peak of Huashan Mountain, also called the Rising Sun Peak, offers a magnificent view of the sunrise.
