Departing from Xi'an, the bus journey to Huashan takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.

Coming from Xi'an, buses leave from the east parking lot in front of the railway station. The journey should take around 2.5-3 hours.

Public buses (RMB11) also make the run, leaving from Xi'an's long-distance bus station (Yuxiangmen Bus Station, Yuxiangmen qiche zhan, 3.5-4 hours).

The Huashan Bus Station is a few hundred meters east of the intersection of the main road with the street leading up to Yuquan Temple (and the start of the route).

Minibuses to Xi'an (RMB20, 2.5 hours) leave when full from opposite the Huashan Banking Hotel from 7am to around 6pm.
