The sky in Tibet is blue, blue, blue, it same closer to us than usual, the moon is big and very bright; sheep like the clouds in the sky, the air is clean and flesh!
The life in Tibet is quite leisurely and carefree, quite and peaceful, and lazy, it seems that people don't need to work, they just stroll on the street, go to cafe(tea house),watch videos, chat... so in Tibet, we didn't in a hurry, never got up when it was still dark like the last several travels, and after breakfast, went to visit some elaborated decorated temples, when we got a place, we went to the temples there 1st, watch the brilliant mural paintings, listened to the stories, identified the Buddha, chatted with the monks and the lamas... lots of fun!
We went to Mt. Qomolangma (Mt. Everest), the highest mountain in the world, we spent 2 hours walking from the place we lived to the Base Camp (5200m), and the 2nd day we wanted to walk to the Glacier on the foot of Mt. Qomolangma, but the time was not enough, so we promised next time we must bring some equipment, maybe with a guide and some yaks, and get there, maybe we should wait for several years. Our Tibetan driver said we r fortune enough to c Mt. Qomolangma's landscape, cause it often cover with the clouds, we think we r lucky enough too, we can watch it clearly in 2 days when we were there. And we finally climbed the Glacier on our trip, it called kara Glacier, it took us 2 hours to reach the Glacier, felt so good, the shapes of the Glacier were very strange, just as our Tibetan driver said, like animals, such as tiger, elephant, lion... and we went to the 2 saint lakes (Tibet has 3 saint lakes, the other one is in the west of Tibet),one is the highest lake in the world, one of the customs in Tibet is walking around the saint lake, and then you'll be lucky next life, but u can walk around the peninsula in the saint lake 7 times, that has the same effect, we just walked around the peninsula 1 time, hope it can make us good luck in this life.
In Tibet, we saw the big Buddha drew on a big Dangka, very huge, it can cover a side of a hill, and the prayer flags one the top of the mountain, Tibetan always murmur something when they pass by them, we learned how to read it from our driver and wrote it down, cause it was too long(many sentences)to remember, when we passed by a prayer flag we murmured with our drivers, but when we recite that in front of the Tibetans, no one understand what we were saying, and the monks taught us one only have several words, much easier.
Tibetan food are delicious but expansive, we love the Qingke (a crop plant in the high land) wine, and drank some spirit made in Tibet, cause it was cold there even in summer.
I miss Tibet very much, I'm sure I'll go back again, like a child to her mother!
