The photo taken on March 15, 2006 shows an ancient sculpture displayed at the Capital Museum of Beijing. From the first piece of simple tool made by ancestors of Africans to the art works of Leonardo Da Vinci, the exhibits cover the long human history starting from about two million years ago.
This exhibition is held in the Beijing Capital Museum, the first time for the museum to host a large scale overseas exhibition since it reopened to the public after renovation in December 2005.
Curator Guo Xiaoling said this tour exhibition started from Japan. In the Republic of Korea, it attracted an average of 3,400 people to the Seoul Art Center every day.
Guo estimated that more than 400,000 people in Beijing will come to see the exhibition
