Dahlan said Nitzarim could be a place to offer service to the Gaza seaport to be built on seashore according to the PNA's plan.
The seaport cornerstone was laid by late leader Yasser Arafat together with French President Jacques Chirac in 1996.
Dahlan said that Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas also urged donor countries to help the Palestinians in building the seaport and an airport after an Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Dahlan added the PNA also plans to use evacuated settlements area in the territories for other projects, including tourism, agriculture and housing.
In about three weeks, Israel is to evacuate 21 Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip, which make up nearly 40 percent of the territories. Nitzarim is among the first Gaza settlements to be evacuated.
