Pakistan has condemned the attack on tourist reception centre in Srinagar in Indian-held Kashmir and expressed confidence that the new bus service across the Line of Control would operate on schedule.

Foreign Office spokesman Jalil Abbas Jillani said the bus service was a humanitarian gesture meant to alleviate the sufferings of those who are longing to see their beloved ones across the Line of Control.

The spokesman also offered sympathies with those Kashmiris who were injured in the attack.

He said Pakistan has been told by India that the bus from Srinagar will operate as scheduled and the Indian-held Kashmiri government had made elaborate arrangements for the security and comfort of passengers.
