The Chairman of the People First Party, James Soong has paid homage at the mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor in Xi'an.
The stop at the tomb of Huangdi, widely regarded as the ancestor of the Chinese people, is a priority for Soong and his Taiwan delegation.

The staff at Huangdi Mausoleum have rehearsed for the special two hour ceremony.

At the Mausoleum, Soong will visit the Xuanyuan Temple, deliver speech, leave an inscription, and exchange presents with the Administration of Huangdi Mausoleum.

James Soong is also scheduled to visit Nanjing, Shanghai, Changsha and Beijing.
