Welcome to People in the Know on China Radio International, or on www.crienglish.com. I'm Lin Shaowen.

Just two days after Chinese Kuomintang leader Lien Chan concluded his tour to the mainland, another Taiwan opposition leader came.

James Soong: "Our goal is to realize mutual understanding, and reconciliation, and more importantly, consensus on co-existence and common prosperity across the Taiwan Straits. Only by doing so can we create glory for all the Chinese people in the mainland and Taiwan, and rejuvenate Chinese culture."

What is behind the momentum of dialogue? What can we expect from Chairman James Soong of the People First Party?
