Related Event: 50 Years After Bandung Conference

Before leaving Manila, Hu Jintao met with Chinese diplomats, students, businessmen and overseas Chinese in the Philippine capital.

During his three-day state visit in Manila, Hu Jintao and his Philippine counterpart Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo agreed to establish strategic cooperative relations between the two countries.

President Hu Jintao started his three-nation Southeast Asia tour on April 20. He also attended the Asian-African Summit in Jakarta and participated in the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the first Asian-African Conference in Bandung.
