NE Coal Mine Flooding Traps Seven

A coal mine flooding trapped seven miners underground in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province on Thursday morning.

The accident occurred at about 4:00 a.m. Thursday at a colliery in Shuangyang District of the city, according to sources with the provincial bureau of coal industry.

The emergency rescue work is being organized.
