China to Become World's Third Largest Automobile Producer
2005-11-18 16:52:40      CRIENGLISH.com

China is expected to replace Germany as the world's third largest automobile producer by 2006.

This forecast was arrived at following a survey by German's Federal Trade Information Office.

Production in China's automobile industry this year is expected to exceed six million automobiles, though the country is facing soaring prices for raw materials and a competitive market.

German automobiles have grabbed a large market share in China, and major German car manufacturers have all set up joint ventures in China.
