2005-5-26 9:51:36
Two hospitals in Beijing have become smoke-free hospitals.

Two hospitals in Beijing have become smoke-free hospitals.

Beijing Youth Daily reports that Chaoyang Hospital and Beijing Hospital are among the first batch of designated hospitals in the country to ban smoking.

But the report says that because of the huge number of smokers in China, some hospitals will still set up smoking areas in the hospital just for the smokers'convenience.

The paper is also running a survey showing 40 per cent of Chinese doctors don't realized smoking can kill you.
