A Refuge for Women Victims of Domestic Abuse

Millions of people worldwide are affected by domestic violence every year. China is no different. The majority of those affected are women.

In this week's Life in China, we'll go to a women's refuge in Xuzhou in East China where women who have been victims of domestic violence can go for help and support.

Next we're off to Tian-jin, to meet some North Americans who have opted to make that beautiful coastal city their home.

Finally, we'll take you to a souvenir shop in Beijing where you can buy a copy of the newspaper produced on the day you were born!
