One of the world famous Three Tenors, Jose Carreras, will join Beijing's 2005 New Year's Eve Concert in Great Hall of the People.

For the past eight years a combined foreign and Chinese orchestra has played at the concert, but this year the concert will be performed totally by the Beijing Symphony Orchestra.

Jose Carreras will be joined by soprano Victoria Loukianetz, violinist Vadim Repin, Chinese pianist Yin Chengzong, Chinese tenor Dai Yuqiang and Peking Opera artist Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu.
