An art show by AIDS patients and HIV carriers has opened in the St. Regis Hotel, Beijing.

With the theme, Her Beauty, all the works were painted by female HIV carriers at the Positive Art Workshop in Beijing.
The workshop is a charity organization for people living with HIV and AIDS. They hope to treat patients' hearts and souls with the therapy of art.

The head of the organization is Song Pengfei, the first HIV carrier in China to publicly admit he was infected by the deadly virus.

Admission to the two-day show is free.

By the end of 2003, there were at least 190 thousand women in China infected by the disease.
