Inmates in Beijing's jails and rehabilitation centers will be tested for HIV from this month to next March. Every HIV-positive prisoner will have his CD4 count tested.

Every HIV-positive prisoner will have their CD4 count tested to see if their immune system is still healthy. Medical care will be provided.

HIV-positives' spouses and children will also be tested, and a database will be made with the results.
