Four HIV-positive people from southwest China's Sichuan Province have come to Beijing to prepare to stage a play, written by themselves, on World AIDS Day in December.

Entitled "Beautiful Red Ribbon", the play tells a story of two HIV-carriers left behind in a car accident after people realize they are infected by HIV.

The four actors say they hope their show will raise awareness against AIDS discrimination.

December 1st is the World AIDS Day.

Currently, China has some 840 thousand HIV carriers, the second largest number in Asia.
