The young director of "Letter From An Unknown Woman", Xu Jinglei, has told the press that she is working on a new movie reflecting the reality of American society after "9-11".

Her latest work "Letter From An Unknown Woman" has now been released in China. The movie is based on the novel of the same name, written by renowned Austrian writer Stefan Zweig. It tells the story of a woman who devotes her life to a secret lover. Xu Jinglei says the film really fused with her own experience and understanding of love.

Regarding her new project, Xu Jinglei said it is part of a series of films that reflect the image of American society after "9-11". Nine other world famous directors will be involved in the series.
