Four Chinese Directors Shine at Tokyo Film Festival

Four promising Chinese directors attended the Winds of Asia talk show at the Tokyo Film Festival Monday.

Four promising Chinese directors: Letter From An Unknown Woman director Xu Jinglei, Jasmine Women director Hou Yong and Baober In Love director Li Shaohong attended the Winds of Asia talk show on the third day of the Tokyo Film Festival Monday.

Also on the guest list was When Beckham Met Owen director Adam Wong and Possible Change director Min Byung-kook.

They introduced the the films they have submitted to the festival and shed light on their ideas on filming.

Chinese director Lu Chuan's latest film, Ke Ke Xi Li, which is about efforts to save the Tibetan antelope, opened to the Japanese public Monday and has received an enthusiastic response.
