Rockets Suffer Second Defeat

The Houston Rockets suffered their second consecutive defeat in the regular season games, after losing the opening game Tuesday in Detroit.

After a sluggish first half Wednesday, Houston fought back in the third quarter but couldn't catch the Raptors, falling 95-88 in Toronto.

Chinese center Yao Ming scored 17 points and nine rebounds. His teammate Tracy McGrady had a game-high 21 points.

Rockets season-opening road trip continues Friday in Memphis.
