Chelsea and Inter Milan have advanced to the next round of the Champions League, while AC Milan and Barcelona look certain to join them.

Chelsea claimed its fourth consecutive victory in a Group H match, beating CSKA Moscow 1-0 to advance.

Inter Milan forced a nil-all draw with Valencia, which will be enough to reach the next phase.

Spanish league leader Barcelona downed AC Milan 2-1 thanks to a Ronaldinho goal with 2 minutes to go.

Now each team has nine points and needs a point from their last two games to reach the second round.

English powerhouse Arsenal stumbled again with a 1-1 home tie with Panathinaikos and has now drawn three games in a row.
