LeBron James has a career-high 43 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to their seventh win in eight games, thrashing visiting Detroit Pistons 92-76.


James, who turns 20 on December 30, became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 500 career assists and rebounds, beating Magic Johnson's record.

Jeff McInnis added 16 points for the Cavaliers, while Richard Hamilton scored 28 points for the defending champion Pistons.
