China's two-time World Champions Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo left no suspense when they skated to victory at the Pairs event on Friday night at the ongoing ISU Cup of China.

Another Chinese duo Zhang Dan/ Zhang Hao completed a successful evening for the host country by taking the silver.

The Olympic bronze medalists Shen/Zhao delivered a solid performance to "The Soong Sisters" soundtrack, reeling off a series of toeloop sequence, throw Salchow, as well as a triple twist and finished with an overall event score of 193.54.

Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao put on a powerful performance to "In the Hall of the Mountain King" scoring a total of 175.02, retained the runner-up for China.

The bronze medal went to Valerie Marcoux/Craig Buntin of Canada.
