U.S. Commerce Secretary Visits China

U.S. Commerce Secretary Donald Evans has arrived in Beijing to start his visit to China.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Kong Quan, says Evans comes at the invitation of the Chinese government.

During his three-day visit, the US Commerce Secretary intends to discuss with the Chinese authorities the issue of widespread counterfeiting and piracy and the measures needed to counter it.

He will also participate in a round-table conference on copyright problems between China and the US.
