Related Event: Asian Tsunami Disaster  

Five crew members have been injured as a US helicopter on relief operations in Indonesia's Banda Aceh crashed on Monday.

Aid officials said the US navy Seahawk helicopter crashed near Banda Aceh airport, one of the worst-hit areas in the recent tsunamis, early Monday morning and the injured have been rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is not immediately known.
