Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said India will not accept Pakistan's proposal on delimitation of Jammu and Kashmir.

Singh made the remark on Wednesday in a press conference in Srinagar, the capital of the Indian-held section of Kashmir.

Singh noted that any proposal to redraw or further divide the border of Jammu and Kashmir is unacceptable to India.

In late October, Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf proposed to divide Jammu and Kashmir into seven zones and demilitarize them to be administered by India, Pakistan or the UN.
