He visited the local miners and families of victims of a coal mine disaster last November in which 166 miners were killed.

The deaths occurred when there was a gas explosion in the Chenjiashan coalmine. The mine is administered by the Tongchuan Mining Administration

The Chinese premier demands relevant departments intensify the management of safety in mines, and increase funds to improve miner's working conditions.
