Related Event: French Culture Year

(Picasso exhibition in Shenzhen on December 27, 2004)

Beijing residents will soon have the opportunity to view 265 original works by the world-famous 20th century Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

The priceless collection is on loan from the France-based Picasso Foundation, which owns the world's largest collection of Picasso works.

The exhibition, sponsored by Beijing People's Broadcasting Station, will be open from March until May. The location has not yet been decided.

It is a great achievement for the one-year Sino-French cultural exchange program which includes art exhibitions and theatre.
