30,000 AIDS Patients to Receive Free Treatment in China

China is to offer free herbal treatment to some thirty thousand AIDS patients in 15 provinces. It will spend 3.5 million US dollars on the campaign in five heavily AIDS-stricken provinces.
China is going to offer free herbal treatment to some thirty thousand AIDS patients in 15 provinces of China.

A batch of two thousand patients in Hebei, Henan, Anhui, Hubei and Guangdong provinces will be the first to receive the treatment.

China will spend 29 million yuan, or 3.5 million dollars, over three years on the campaign in these five provinces.

A training course of herbal medicine treatment is also held in Henan province, which is believed to be the province most severely hit by AIDS.
