Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing says the Premier's visit has opened a new page for Sino-EU cooperation.

"The two sides have strengthened mutual-trust in the political field and made cooperation in specific fields more practical. As well, the two declarations issued during the meeting on the arms embargo and nuclear non-proliferation have further promoted Sino-EU relations."

China and the European Union have also signed a series of other agreements, covering the areas of customs, science and technology and finance.
