The requirement of export licenses and electric data for Chinese textile exports to the United States has been revoked.

The announcement was made by the US Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements, an interagency group chaired by the US Department of Commerce.

However, the quota restrictions, on woollen, cotton and synthetic socks, will still be effective throughout the coming year.
