Chinese wine maker the Changyu Company was founded more than a century ago, and its wines have won many international prizes.

Chinese wine maker the Changyu Company was founded more than a century ago, and its wines have won many international prizes.

The company was founded by a famous patriotic leader of Chinese people living overseas, Zhang Bishi.

Four Changyu wines have been given top awards by the Panama-Pacific International exposition.

The Changyu Wine Culture Museum displays these awards, and other fascinating displays about the production of Chinese wine over the last century.

The museum, which is in Dama Road, Yantai in east China's Shandong provience, also has a cellar with wines for sale.

Visitors can also see messages from famous visitors, including Dr. Sun Yatsen and Mr Zhang Xueliang whose inscriptions are on display.
