Medical International Technology Announces Its Malaysian Distributor Continues to Combat Influenza H5N1
2006-03-09 08:52:49    Yahoo

DENVER, March 6, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Medical International Technology Inc. announced today that it has received another order from its Malaysian Distributor, ``Rhone Ma Malaysia,'' and has shipped an additional 10 units of its patented AGRO-JET Needle Free Injector. The units will be used in both the pork and poultry industries.

The patented AGRO-JET Needle Free Injector has proven to eliminate cross contamination in poultry inoculations, due to its non-invasive technique. The current method of inoculating poultry throughout most of the world is done via the needle/syringe method. This method typically has several hundred birds inoculated with the same needle before it is discarded. The result is a dramatic increase in the cross-contamination risk between injected birds as well as an increase in the risk of infecting the person performing the injections via potential needle stick injury.

With the H5N1 bird flu rampant in parts of Asia and spreading on a global scale, the non-invasive Needle Free Injectors are catching the attention of many institutions in the poultry and farm animal sectors. Medical International Technologies has proven that their non-invasive technique is more effective in inoculating birds and animals, and is safer for both animals and humans alike. With the fact that AGRO-JET can safely inoculate as many as 800 birds an hour makes the system safer and more cost effective in every way than the current needle/syringe type methods.
