Caribbean Dances Hit Beijing
    2006-05-05 13:33:35

Seventeen dancers from the Bahamas National Liturgical Dance Company feasted the tourists on splendid dances full of Caribbean customs in Chaoyang Park in Beijing on May 3.

The dances presented the culture across the Caribbean areas as well as the delightful scene of the Junkanoo Festival, the most famous carnival in Bahamas. The youngest entertainer in the troupe is 12 and the eldest 20. They also enjoyed the performance of the folk Chinese stilt-walking team and were fascinated by Chinese folk arts.
