The 9th Shanghai Art Fair 2005:The Theme of Shanghai Art Fair 2005 Is Announced
2005-11-10 16:58:25    CRIENGLISH.com

As an indispensable traditional part of Shanghai International Art Festival, Shanghai Art Fair 2005 will open to the public from Nov.16 thru 20 at ShanghaiMART. The organizing committee recently makes the announcement that the theme of Shanghai Art Fair 2005 will be "Following the Galleries' The Right Way for Art Investment."

The Committee says that the exciting theme of the last Shanghai Art Fair, which was "Investing Art' A New Way for Wealth Management", has greatly enlightened those perplexed people in the depressing stock market and confused real estate market and what's more, it is still remembered up to now. Although many citizens who have realized that they can benefit from investing in art and are eager to try it, they complain that they cannot decide which artwork they should buy since they lack the judging ability and know little about the art market.

Thus the theme this year is an extender of the last one, and it clearly shows the art investors the right way.

The Committee also points out that as professionals that are dealing in art, galleries are not only the organizations providing with consultation and service for art investment, but also reliable wealth managing consulters and brokers. Connecting tightly with many artist groups, galleries have a more complete understanding of artists' achievements and their future developments in art market. Besides professionally helping investors choose artists' works, they make a dependable guarantee on the quality of the works. Futher, galleries sell the works of the artists they represent, they make great efforts to popularize the artists and their works at the same time. Especially these years, with the standardization of the art market, the Chinese galleries begin to pay more attention to the goodwill, and make all kinds of value-added services more perfect.
