The 9th Shanghai Art Fair 2005:International Lineup to Catch Eyes
2005-11-10 16:57:13    CRIENGLISH.com

Shanghai Art Fair, as one of the most significant events of Shanghai International Art Festival, has finished its recruiting process successfully. Leading by Mr. Zengxian Fang, the Art Director of Shanghai Art Fair, the Art Committee has decided the final qualified applicants after several rounds of selection. Over 300 participants including art galleries and artists fulfill their participating wishes to join in the Fair and occupy all the booths available. These distinguished exhibitors are coming from 16 countries such as Germany, United Kingdoms, Italy, France, Spain, Swiss, Monaco, Austria, Holland, Russia, Australia, United States, Canada, Singapore, Korea and Japan as well as from domestic provinces including Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Among the qualified best exhibitors, top galleries are absolutely eye-catching. Not only those familiar participants like Emmanuel Javogue Fine Arts LLC, Cheng Xin Dong Gallery, TD ART, but also many outstanding art galleries will make their debut in Shanghai Art Fair such as Arndt & Partner from Germany, Artcore/Fabrice Marcolini from Canada, Britto Central from United States, Galerie Krinzinger from Austria and Juliana Gallery from Korea which were participants in the top fairs like Art Basel, Art Cologne, Art Chicago, Art Basel Miami Beach and so on; Gebr. Douwes Fine Arts from Netherlands with a history of over 200 years, Masion d??ART from Monaco, both of the two standing art galleries are famous for dealing with European old masters (16th :C 18th Century), whose art are collected by the Palais du Louvre, and moreover, they are also joining in the TEFAF International Fine Art and Antiques Fair, the "Fairest of Fair".

Meanwhile, employing the character of pertinacious earnestness is the Korean gallery team who brings forth the utmost sentiments to the Chinese collectors. Striving for the surge of the third "Korean Phenomenon" wave that bewildered the whole fair, the finest Korean galleries launched an all out attack. Their pursuit of excellence; visually fusional designs; artworks enriched of innovative concepts and techniques; are pleasingly admirable. Almost like the "weapon of mass visual destruction," it shall once again transfuse a soul convulsion to the collectors. On the other hand, contemporary galleries from countries such as Japan and Singapore are vying with each other to join the league, eagerly waiting for the face off with the collectors.

Facing with the stream of foreign galleries?? entry, domestic galleries are ready to join in the competition. Galleries from Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc have united together to come up with the challenge. Dealing with mainly oil paintings, Shanghai Grand Theatre Gallery, Shanghai Hua Shi Culture Development Co., Ltd, Shanghai Sheng Ling Art Gallery, Shanghai Eye Level Gallery, Juyazhai Gallery, Tian Qing Gallery, Gallery de Author Sheng Dongfang and Dalian Jiayi Art Gallery are aiming at raising the heat of oil painting collection further. Meanwhile, Shanghai Penesulan Art Centre, Xiangshan Paining Institute, Shanghai Huang Jie Gallery, Yun Fung Gallery, Nanjing Red Classic, Beijng Jing Qing Gallery, etc intend to attract both local buyer and collectors from Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces with their Chinese traditional masters.

For Hong Kong and Taiwan, Kwai Fung Hin Art Gallery, Modern Gallery, Dimensions Art Center, Asia Art Center, Expol-Sources Gallery Ltd, Jade Union Gallery, etc these representatives are also heading for the Fair, joining forces with mainland exhibitors to compete with foreign art galleries.

Supposing the faithful Shanghai Art Fair 2005 staging at the ShanghaiMART from November 16 thru. 20, with the extraordinary presentation of local and foreign galleries, along with dazzlingly stunning and undeniably beautiful artworks, will not be regretful to the anticipation and expectation of the art collectors and investors.
