Brazil has won soccer's World Youth Championship for the fourth time, beating Spain 1-0 with a header from Fernandinho in the 87th minute on Friday.
In the third-place play-off, Colombia defeated Argentina 2-1.
Spain was left a man down in the fourth minute, when Melli was sent off for dragging down Brazilian striker Nilmar as he raced toward the Spanish goal.
