Egypt, the United States and Israel have signed an agreement on trade and industry.

Under the agreement, some types of Egyptian goods with Israeli input at the minimum of 11.7 percent will be exported to the United States without any customs duties.

Meanwhile, several industrial zones will be set up around Egypt, including Greater Cairo, Alexandria and the Suez Canal Zone.

US Trade Representative Robert Zoellick says this is the most important economic accord between Egypt and Israel since they sealed a peace treaty in 1979.
