Plum Rain Season to Arrive in Mid-June

This year's plum rain season will resume to normal as had occurred in normal years but the flood prevention situation still remains severe this year, sources from Zhejiang Meteorological Observatory said yesterday.
Meteorological experts said that the arrival of this year's plum rain season will be around mid-June and that the rain season will continue until mid-July, with the rainfall totalling between 220 mm and 260 mm, slightly lower than normal years but much higher than last year, when the province witnessed the shortest rain season in history, which lasted only seven days.
Meanwhile, the average temperature in June will be slightly higher than the same period last year, meteorological experts also said (From Zhejiang Online)
