An increasing number of Chinese businesses are recruiting British workers, for roles based in the UK.
That's as investment from China into the UK reaches record levels, and spans more industries and occupations than ever before.

By way of example, in January we reported that a British firm that acquired the nickname 'Disneyland of Engineering' had received a massive boost from Chinese investors.

Gilo Industries Group is one of the UK's most exciting design and engineering companies, and now counts Kuang-Chi science of Shenzhen as a minority shareholder.

That announcement came only days after news that one of London's last remaining derelict Victorian mills - which has lain abandoned for 35 years - was being saved thanks to Chinese investment in the local Royal Docks development. That project will support thousands of British jobs - both in the initial construction stage and beyond as it grows as a financial and technological hub.

Interest in Chinese jobs for British people isn't just limited to those who want to stay at home, though!

An increasing number of workers from Austalia, Ireland and the United Kingdom are being tempted to look for jobs in China.

Thatí»s according to specialist employment publication Personnel Today, who report that teachers are especially likely to consider moving to the country.

Apparently, the number of those enrolling for courses to teach English as a foreign language in China has increased by six fold over the last few years.

Interest has apparently been particularly strong in Australia, but there has also been a marked increase in the UK and Ireland.

The news reflects not only a growing demand for English tuition in China, but also a rising interest in Chinese culture, life and travel in other countries.
