DreamWorks' new comedy animation 'Trolls' has premiered in Los Angeles, with Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick walking the red carpet.
This animated musical features a troll princess and her companion, an unhappy troll, doing all they can to save their friends from being eaten alive.
Besides voicing for the paranoid disgruntled Troll named Branch, Justin Timberlake also take on the role as the film's executive music producer.
"It was a lot of fun. Everyone's so musically talented. They didn't need much coaching from me. I didn't know what I would tell them. It's nice to have people that are so talented that you can just make choices. Because some of the music is for comedy and some of it is for more dramatic moments."
His single 'Can't Stop the Feeling' from the soundtrack has already topped the pop charts in nearly 20 countries.
Co-director of the film, Mike Mitchell, elaborates on how they brought Justin Timberlake on board.
"We approached Justin just to do a voice, just because he's such a great actor and he's got a great sense of humor and he's so funny. He saw what we were doing with the music and, just very early on, he wanted to join us. (He said) 'I want to be your music producer. And it took us maybe half a second to say, 'Yes, please!'''
'Trolls' has already opened in the UK, and it's due for release in China on Friday and in the US on November 4th.
