Zhang Yimou's "The Great Wall" set for December 18 release in China

Director Zhang Yimou's "The Great Wall" has teased another trailer ahead of its release in December.

The fantastical tale, starring Matt Damon, tells the story of an elite force taking a stand for humanity on the iconic ancient Chinese structure.

Zhang and Damon unveiled the new trailer at the just concluded New York Comic Con, in front of thousands of fans packed in Madison Square Garden.

Some Chinese entertainment heavyweights also appear in the film, including Andy Lau and Eddie Peng.

"The Great Wall" is coming to Chinese theaters on December 16th.
