A total of 167,231 domains were registered within the first day since a VIP level domain was launched into general retail availability on May 17.

According to "nTLDStats.com", a website that offers extensive statistics for the domain name industry, dot vip had climbed to number 19 in its global rankings.

Minds + Machines Group Limited is the owner and operator of "dot Vip".
