Russia held the final rehearsal for its Victory Day parade on Moscow's Red Square on Saturday, two days ahead of the country's World War II victory celebrations.
Military vehicles rolled across the square and aircraft flew overhead as Russia prepared to commemorate the 71st anniversary of its victory.
A large number of people came to the rehearsal.
"I'm proud of this demonstration on Red Square today. All these weapons are the achievements of our scientific researchers."
"I have watched the parades on TV since I can remember, but it's quite a different experience to see it in person. Words cannot express my pride in my country. The patriotic enthusiasm is burning in my heart."
Russia plans to spend 210 million rubles on the parade, making it the most frugal one in five years.
Nearly 10 thousand soldiers are expected to join the parade along with nearly 100 military vehicles and 71 aircraft and helicopters. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
