Popular Registry Minds + Machines Promotes "Dot Vip" Pre-registry in China

Dot VIP, a top level domain name, is scheduled to open registry both in and outside China on May 18th.

MMX, an international company, short for Minds + Machines Registry, which provides services in all facets of the domain name industry, is the owner of Dot VIP, and other 25 top level domain names.

Toby Hall is the CEO of the Minds + Machines Registry, and he feels excited about his finding regarding how Dot VIP gets popular worldwide.

"Chinese businesses, Chinese individuals, will be able to buy for the first time that Dot VIP address. We've chosen the 18th of May because it's an auspicious date. The level of interest we've seen is unprecedented among all the portfolios we've launched; we've launched over twenty top level domains in world major cities. And the interest we've seen for Dot VIP is the highest we have ever seen."

Earlier, the Minds + Machines Registry announced that it is formally entering the Chinese market by teaming up with the Internet domain name system, Beijing Engineering research center.

Though it's their first-time experience in China, Toby Hall shows much ambition, particularly in the Chinese market, as the CEO himself explains:

"And that interest has been reflected by the industry enthusiasm. We've executed sixteen contracts with partners to help retail and distribute Dot VIP into the public. That includes most importantly Alibaba and Wangwang."

Toby Hall's team also estimates that four-letter and four-number Dot VIP will be sold at around 35 yuan or a bit over five US dollars.

In fact before the May 18th open registry day, the Chinese internet service portal giant, "Tencent", has applied for preempting "Weixin.VIP" and "QQ.VIP".
