Chinese in Sweden Celebrate Spring with Chinese Concerts

Chinese in Stockholm have celebrated the Nordic Spring with a concert focusing on Chinese styles.

Organized by China-Europe Cultural Association, the Professional Foreign Correspondents Association and Green Post, famous local Chinese artists gave a very special performance to the audience.

Xuefei Chen Axelsson, President of China-Europe Cultural Association in Sweden said the concert was held to sing for spring, which spring means a good beginning of the year. The mission of her association is also to promote cultural exchange between Chinese and western cultures.

Famous Chinese singer Zou Rongmei sang the song "I love you."

Well-known blind flute players Crystal Wu Jing played beautiful music, "Spring Arrives in the Xiangjiang River."

Dong Jiajun has played Hulusi, a special instrument from Yunnan province. He played Deep in the Bamboo Forest and the Moon Night.

Sun Yuan danced the classic Chinese dance Dunhuang giving people a pleasant feeling.

Li Zhanchun finally sang a song, I love you China! concluding the concert.

Representing the western styles, Ric Wasserman, a musician from PROFOCA played guitar and sang two blues songs.

CECA's Latin dancing group also danced Salsa to show the audience what they have done during the year.

After the concert people enjoyed typical Chinese food of Sichuan style.

Fred Goldberg from PROFOCA said "the concert is very good, the food is very good."

Established in 2014, CECA has done a lot of non-profit work to serve local communities.
