The upcoming Chinese horror film "Phantom of the Theater" has recently released a trailer showing thrilling scenes.

The trailer features many horror elements from ancient Chinese stories and tales.

The characters wear traditional Chinese clothes. The scenes are filled with old-fashion streets, buildings, and rituals. Things are featred like "Naihe Bridge" and "Tea of Forgetfulness" that can be found in everyone's childhood ghost stories.

The film cast will be led by Ruby Lin, Yip Wai Man, and Manfred Wong. This is the third time for the three co-star in horror films.

The story was set in the 1930s Shanghai. Ruby Lin will play a film star, who chases her dream in a famous theatre, having no idea about the horrible things about to happen there.

"Phantom of the Theater" is due for release in late April.
